You will experience a family friendly atmosphere that’s personal and relaxed in a private studio setting. You get quality guitar instruction geared to each individual by an experienced guitar teacher.

Students learn how to play chords, scales, music notation and tablature, fret board knowledge, improvising skills, along with materials and songs that interest you, as well as learning how to maintain and look after your instrument.

Start right from the beginning, brush up on your existing skills, take your playing in a new direction, learn guitar theory, or just learn to play all your favorite songs. All your printed learning materials are included in your monthly tuition.

About Oz

Hi! My name is Auz Cunningham.

I own and operate Studio 19 Music Lessons in Thornton, Ontario. I’m a Professional musician and I have been teaching students to play guitar for twenty years.

I studied Guitar at Lindy’s School of Music in Barrie during the mid 1980’s. I continued to acquire and polish my skills, learning classical guitar, finger style picking and song writing techniques, working with Canadian Singer Songwriter J.K. Gulley.

In 1994 I graduated from The Recording Arts Program of Canada.

I love music, playing guitar, teaching and helping aspiring guitar players find their hidden talents!

My goal is to help you learn to play your guitar for lifelong enjoyment.

Private lessons – 30 minutes in length – $80/month for 4 lessons

Group Lessons – please contact for rates

Beginner to Advanced

I teach beginner to advanced level Guitar as well as beginner Bass, Mandolin and Ukulele.

Flexible

Flexible time slots available to fit your busy schedules, weekly or bi-weekly, daytime and evening.
